English as a Foreign Language (EFL): Instruction with Islamic Perspective
This book is a course book which contains discussions of how English learning is designed for teaching-learning English in educational institutions from primary school level up to higher education level in accordance with the breath if Islamic teachings which are in harmony with the guidance of national educational goals that integrate between attitude with knowledge and skills as the concept of integration of knowledge, science and Islam (the Andromeda Spiral concept). The instructional design of this book equivalent with a two-credit course consist of: (1) introduction to EFL instruction with Islamic perspective, (2) language, communication and Islamic literacy, (3) the relationship between language, culture and religion in an EFL instruction, (4) applied linguistics-integrating EFL instruction with Islamic views, (5) applied linguistics-incorporating Islamic teaching into EFL instructions using card games, and (6) applied linguistics-exploring the connection of word-card games in acquiring EFL with Islamic perspectives.
